The Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking and Association of Certified Gaming Compliance Specialists have partnered to raise awareness of human trafficking in the Casino and Gaming sector.
“A Gaming sector equipped with the education and knowledge about human trafficking can play a critical role in addressing exploitation in this industry in Canada. Gaming compliance officers able to spot the red flags of human trafficking and money laundering can help this sector to avoid Casino locations being frequented and used by human traffickers,” said Julia Drydyk, Executive Director, The Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking.
